The Portuguese star launched Legacy, a "masculine and distinctive" fragrance
Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed “not everything in life is about football” as he launched his first perfume.
The Real Madrid winger unveiled Legacy, his new fragrance, straight after training with the club on Thursday morning.
And while Ronaldo obviously had one eye on working hard to end his goalless strike in this weekend’s game with Espanyol, he claimed it’s important to work hard off the field too.
“It’s difficult to do publicity stuff after training,” he said. “But nothing in life is easy and that is why you have to work hard for your achievements.
“Not everything in life is about football, there are other things too... This is part of the job."

Talking about his new fragrance, Ronaldo spoke proudly of how this had been a long-term ambition of his.
“It’s a perfume that leaves a mark, that’s why it’s got my name, because I’m a person that has left my mark and will always try to do so.
“It’s something I’ve wanted to do since a while back, when I was a kid, for me to have a perfume with my name was something unique and when they talked to me about making it, it was something that left me very happy.”
The scent is described as “luxurious and exotic” as well as “masculine and distinctive,” while boasting lavender, apple and cinnamon notes. And Ronaldo said that he “identifies” with its unique aroma.
“It’s for all the people that like Cristiano,” he said. “So that they can have something of me close to them.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have told Paris Saint-Germain that they can buy the Portuguese superstar - just as long as they pay his €1billion release clause!
The 30-year-old winger has long been a target of PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi as he looks to take the Ligue 1 club to the next level in Europe.
And when asked about the Parisian club’s interest in their star player, Madrid president Florentino Perez revealed there was only one way to buy the 30-year-old forward:
“If PSG want Cristiano then it is very simple,” he told Radio Cope.
“They just need to pay his clause of €1billion and they can take him.”
