A Premier League soccer star was "ejected" from a club amid angry scenes which were captured on video.
Ex-England and Manchester United defender Wes Brown was involved in the ugly confrontation at The Keys in Yarm, Cleveland.
Revellers watched as he was led outside by a doorman who appears to have his arm around his neck.
The millionaire dad-of-three, now playing for Sunderland, is then captured on video as he emerges onto the pavement outside.
Brown is heard saying: 'I slapped who?', apparently to the doorman who had just ejected him.

A fellow reveller then shouts: "Tackle him Wes!" in the mobile phone footage which lasts a matter of seconds.
The footballer was with two other Sunderland stars who left the club in a taxi shortly after the incident.

Police confirmed they had been contacted by the club, but their own
door staff had sorted out the problem and their officers were not
required to attend.
One eyewitness, who did not want to be named,
took a photo of Brown as he was being frogmarched out of the venue,
which is a pub and club.

He said: "I have no idea what sparked it all off.
"I just happened to be on the way back from the toilet when I saw him being ejected."
Another witness saw the three players outside the Lotus Lounge in the club.
He watched as the two other players left in a taxi.
"Brown left after them," he added.
Brown's
agent Paul Martin, a Sunderland AFC spokesman and the Keys all declined
to comment on the incident, which happened at around 11.30 pm on Sunday
night.

Inspector Ian Willis, of Cleveland Police, confirmed they had
been called by management at The Keys at around 11.35 pm regarding a
'group of males' who were ejected by door staff.
He added: "It was just to let us know they had been ejected after trying to cause problems for their own staff.
"We advised them to re-contact us if there were any further problems, but we did not hear from them again.
"Police did not need to attend."
