“I am size sexy,” the curvy model declared after strutting her stuff at New York fashion week
Plus-size model Ashley Graham stole the show as she modeled her own lingerie line on the runway during New York Fashion Week on Tuesday.
The
size 16 supermodel led the way as a host of stunning ladies flaunted
their enviable curves in a variety of sexy lace designs created to
compliment fuller-figured women.
Ashley, who had her long
brunette locks flowing down her back, had all eyes on her as she showed
off her ample assets in a black cut-out bra and sheer knickers.
Taking to Instagram after the show, the 28-year-old wrote to
her thousands of followers: “What an amazing experience!! All the girls
looked amazing.
"I hope you were able to watch the show live on Periscope!!
Thank you to everyone who was involved behind stage as well! We rocked
it! #IAmSizeSexy."
The star also encouraged everyone who
was present to use the hashtag to promote body diversity and prove that
big is just as beautiful.
Her fleshy display comes after she
partnered with Canadian retailer Addition Elle over the summer to launch
her very own range of lingerie, which is now available to buy in
America.
Meanwhile,
singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham was slammed for using
"too skinny" models at her New York Fashion Week show.
The
41-year-old designer showed her latest collection over the weekend and
while there was praise for her Spring/Summer 2016 Collection, others on
social media criticised the weight of the models on the runway.
Victoria
- who has long had to put up with criticism of her own weight - was
reported to have banned super-thin models from her show.
In 2010
it was reported that she'd only used models that had a "healthy
appearance" in her show, in an effort to give positive body image.
