The beautiful 26-year-old lost her footing as she walked in front of a star studded audience

It must be every model’s worst nightmare to fall over on the catwalk.
And yesterday that nightmare became a reality for Candice Swanepoel who took a serious tumble while walking for Givenchy as part of New York Fashion Week.
The model – who is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret – landed on hands as she strutted her stuff. She’s probably not used to doing the catwalk in clothes!
A number of people watching the show rushed to help her and looking rather red faced she managed to get herself up.
She brushed herself down and gave a little embarrassed giggle before moving on.

Following the incident the South African beauty tweeted: “Thank you to who ever picked me up off the runway tonight. left with little scratches but mostly a bruised ego #ohwell'”
Perhaps rather unfortunately the show had a rather star-studded audience, including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who watched as sister Kendall took part in the show and managed not to fall - phew.
