X Factor hopeful claims show is a FIX after being booted off during auditions

Contestant Shianne Phillips said producers forced her to sing Whitney Houston and purposely distorted her performance to make it sound off-key

An X Factor hopeful has claimed the show is a fix after she was booted off during the auditions.
Shianne Phillips had the crowd roaring after wowing with a rendition of Whitney Houston's hit I Have Nothing during Saturday's show.
But the judges were divided and she received a 'no' from both Simon Cowell and Rita Ora.

Shianne went in with high hopes
Now the 24-year-old singer claims she was made to sing the tricky song, that Simon was 'rude' and Rita offended her by saying she looked like Pocahontas.
Speaking after the show was aired, she said: "You just know something's not right. Even if I didn't get in, that's fine - I wasn't what they were looking for. But it didn't feel right.
"I thought Simon was very rude. From the second I walked out he didn't even look at me. Cheryl and Nick seem to be very much what they're like on TV. Rita and Simon seem very different."

The judges were left unsure
The pretty songstress, originally from Canada, cruised through three behind-closed-doors rounds in June, before she was asked to appear on stage at the Wembley Arena.
She claims her performance was twice postponed and when she eventually got called up on July 14 she was forced to wait 13 hours to perform.
Despite the wait, she alleges Simon ignored her as she walked on stage and Rita snidely described her as Pocahontas.

She ended up being sent home
The singer says her performance was crudely edited and designed to make her sound off-key, and she didn't even want to sing the Houston track - but was pestered by producers.
However she did praise Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw, who she said were both chatty and gracious.
Offering words of advice, Shianne claimed: "If you want to go for it, go into it with an open mind. It will give you help of auditioning and that experience will give you that thick skin you need in that environment.
"They wanted sob stories and I wasn't going to do that."
